Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are officially headed for divorce, but the couple has agreed to share joint custody of their four children.

As we reported, the 'Keeping Up With The Kardashians' star pulled the trigger earlier today, officially ending the famous couple's marriage. But, the good news is that the two stars have agreed to split custody of their young children, and no fight over child support.

Kim and Kanye signed a prenuptial agreement which outlines most of the couple's separate property and will make it easier for them to settle their divorce.

According to the legal documents, filed by Kim, she is asking a court to order joint legal and physical custody of the kids.

In most cases, this signifies to the court that the couple is willing to share custody, and creating a schedule shouldn't be an issue in this case. We're told Kardashian wants the kids to have a relationship with their father and knows Kanye is good to the children, regardless of his issues.

Plus, both stars have a large number of staff members and security guards who work for the family -- so exchanging the children smoothly shouldn't be an issue.

As for child support, none will be issued in this case for the simple reason that both parents are extremely wealthy.

In the state of California, the amount of child support ordered is based on a percentage of income from one parent who earns more money than the other. As you know, both Kanye and Kim make millions of dollars per year, and we're told expenses for the children will be paid by both parents.

As for living arrangements, the kids already live in the family's Calabasas compound and will continue living there for the foreseeable future.

Interestingly, according to reports, the couple's prenuptial agreement does NOT contain specific language about custody of the couple's children.

But, we're told they have agreed to joint custody there shouldn't be any current issues in regards to parenting North, 7, Saint, 5, Chicago, 3, and Psalm, 1.

Like in most celebrity divorces, most of the details will be worked out in private, using a mediator. But, IF either party has issues with the other, they can file documents in their divorce case. In that case, a judge will decide what is best for the children.

As we reported, Kim Kardashian officially filed for divorce on Friday, February 19, 2021.
