'RHOP' Star Robyn Dixon Facing Rumors She's Fired, Producers Casting

By Ryan Naumann

"Real Housewives of Potomac" star Robyn Dixon is shutting down rumors she's been let go by producers.

The reality star is trying to shut down talk that she has not received her contract for season 6 despite the other cast members already signing their deals. Robyn spoke to People to try to quash the speculation.

She said, "If or when RHOP returns, I am looking forward to being part of the new season and sharing my story with the viewers who have been supportive of my journey and the show,"

A source close to Robyn told the outlet that she had not been fired. Her statement doesn't address whether or not she hasn't been asked back which isn't technically being fired.

Some believed Robyn. might have been spared from getting axed due to Monique Samuels quitting on producers at the last minute. Bravo has yet to confirm the cast for the forthcoming season.

It is believed contracts have been signed byGizelle Bryant, Ashley Darby, Robyn Dixon, Karen Huger, Candiace Dillard, and Wendy Osefo

One fan took the Robyn being fired talk hard writing they would miss her hot husband Juan Dixon. They tweet, "You guys it just hit me. If Robyn was indeed fired, It really means, Juan Dixon truly won't be there. This is a reality I'm not willing to accept!! #rhop."

Robyn has been a star on the show since season one. In season 5, she opened up about her financial issues, tax debt, raised her children, and got engaged to her former husband Juan after reconciling their relationship. The two are currently planning their wedding which will go down on a to-be-announced date.

One would think Bravo would want to capture the wedding on camera for some sort of payoff to fans after watching their struggles for years. On the other hand, they have cut more interesting Housewives without thinking twice.

Earlier this week, The Jasmine Brand broke the story, “Real Housewives of Potomac” producers are looking to add two new cast members for season six. A source told the outlet, "They’re trying to add two new women to Potomac."

They added, "Potomac needs to fill Monique’s role on the show. Before Monique quit, production was anticipating following the aftermath of Monique and Candiace – will they reconcile? Will the cast remain divided? Now that she’s gone, they’ll need to explore new people."

All this comes after Monique quit the show following the fight she had with costar Candiace Dillard.
